Where In The World?

Since Sam is shifting house, I've decided to do this weeks where in the world.

Today I've chosen to find out about Japan!

Yes Japan is relatively the same size as NZ but has many many more people than NZ.

Population: 125 million people in an area of 377000 Km2

Flag: Red dot on white (the dot represents the sun)

Food: Sushi, is a seaweed-fish based food with rice, usually served with wasabi and soy sauce.

Currency: Yen
Capital: Tokyo

Famous mountain is MT Fuji

Kabuki Theatre is one of Japan's most popular performing arts. The actors always dress in magnificient Kimonos and wear white make up. Originating in the 17th Century, these dramas have elaborate sets and combine speech, poetry, dance and music.

So that's pretty much Japan in a nutshell.
